Mumphrey Project

Tucked away in the woods in Campbell, TX, the Mumphrey family built their dream home. Once the construction of their house was completed, they needed the landscape surrounding the house to match the beauty of the house itself. They called us in to complete the job. On this list of things to do was drainage, irrigation, flowerbed and sidewalk. They did not want gutters on the house so a river rock bed was built surrounding the entire perimeter of the house with a drain system installed to collect the water falling off of the roof and into the rock. The water was then diverted in a pipe down to the pond. We built a sidewalk with steps in the front yard to give access to the front drive. Next, we installed a beautiful flower bed with stone edging to complement the house. We worked with the homeowners on the plant choices and layout. It is a fully custom landscape design that will withstand our wild Texas weather. A flagstone walkway was created to give a path through the flowerbed to the shop built next to the house. A full irrigation system was installed to water the flowerbed, lawn, trees and foundation. Finally, bermuda sod was laid to prevent the erosion during the winter and give a beautiful green lawn in the spring.
